7 months to arrest a person with a corpse in their trunk is pathetic

What affects me as a dad personally is that 14 years is nothing. It’s such a tiny blip of time, she barely got to be alive before meeting that monster. Poor girl.

“He didn't know it was wrong [to date a literal child] because he was homeschooled" is the dumbest excuse ever given.

Crazier part is that he met her at 11, and his discord/community/ her mother and teachers knew about this for years

you saying "child" instead of "young lady" is so refreshing to hear. she couldn't even make it to 15, meanwhile they will still call d4vd a child

As a former homeschool kid, me and all my siblings did, in fact, know it was bad for adults to date children

it’s stupid because you’d think it’s common sense “she was chopped up in the car ofc she was murdered” but in law you HAVE to think of the various different scenarios on how this could’ve happened, even the stupid ones because defense attorneys can (and will) find any possible way to make their client innocent. And additionally her body was highly decomposed as well, making the already complicated case worse.

The craziest part is that his community KNOWS he's dating a 14 year old girl for YEARS (who was probably 12/13 at the time) and they did NOTHING and actually tried to hide it. Sick people

As someone who was homeschooled, along side my 5 siblings our whole life until college - We do know dating a child is incredibly wrong and disgusting. That is the most pitiful and pathetic excuse I have ever heard.

The fact she was 11 when they started dating and he knew, his discord knew, his friends knew, her friends knew, and the police turned their heads and THEN took 7 months to arrest him for her murder is so insane to me… everyone around her has failed that little girl
