Please consider His Girl Friday with Cary Grant - you both will love it.
you need THE THIN MAN (1934) movies with William Powell and Myrna Loy!
If you ladies haven't seen Jimmy Stewart in "Harvey" you need to watch it immediately.
During the scene where James Stewart hiccups when drunk, you can see Cary Grant looking down and grinning. Since the hiccup wasn't scripted, Cary Grant was on the verge of breaking out laughing and had to compose himself quickly. Also, thank you for bringing this movie to people's attention. Hopefully "His Girl Friday" can be reacted soon with Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell, which is about as rapid fire as you can get.
A recommendation, would you ever consider doing The Thin Man starring William Powell and Myrna Loy?
A musical re-make was done in 1956 titled "High Society", starring Grace Kelly as Tracy, Bing Crosby as the ex-husband and Frank Sinatra as the reporter.
You watching a classic like this just makes me feel good. Thank you.
For late-era Cary (and a sparkling Audrey Hepburn), 1963's Charade is an all-timer. Comic-thriller, often joked about as being "The Best Hitchcock Movie Alfred Didn't Make." ๐
Cary Grant was great in everything he did; another movie he did with Kathryn Hepburn called "Bringing up Baby" which is a true screwball comedy/romance.
โSpit in the eyeโ is an idiom, a phrase that means showing extreme defiance, disrespect.
