“My fear is she’ll look at me and say I wish my mom was here. And my fear is….she won’t.”

No matter how many times I hear it, “now let’s get one with the whole family” will never fail to bring me to sobs

"Anna, don't walk out on your mother!" "No, that's your job!" That line has still stuck with me, years later. Young Jena Malone gave an extremely strong performance.

My Dad passed when I was 10 in 1996, he was 41. Jena Malone did a fantastic job, she perfectly portrayed so many of my emotions.

Me and my sister have a stepmother that we didn't get along with either when we were younger. We went and saw this movie, and afterwards all three of us cried in the car and talked out our differences. This was the movie that turned everything around for us. Now as adults, she is one of greatest friends. And yes our mother is still alive. Glad you girls watched this movie.

I always associate "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" with this film. The final shot, with the two ladies sitting next to each other, while taking a family photograph, is incredibly emotional.

My Mom was 48 when she died of cancer. It destroyed me. We were best friends, talked every day, went on trips together. This movie killed me emotionally

That Ring delivery was one of thee many reasons I recommended this many moon's ago. It's the hallmark of a great movie; one that pushes you, pulls you, tugs you in many different directions! It was one of my real mom's favorite movies.
