Together, they meet Giulia Marcovaldo (Emma Berman), an energetic and determined girl who helps them enter the town’s triathlon-style race as they try to fit in among humans. The film is filled with standout moments, including Luca and Alberto’s first transformation on land, their imaginative Vespa fantasies, and the climactic race that tests their friendship and identity.
