I personally enjoyed this film. It definitely had it's flaws but the characters were a breath of fresh air to me. I loved Druig's pushback to the team and him being disgruntled with how they interacted with mankind.
The main plot of the film isn't about Eternals vs Deviants. Ajax asks everyone at the end of Act 1 to find a purpose in life hoping they'd find humanity. The main plot of the film is what the eternals find in their time living with the humans culminating to making a choice by each of them which leads to the final conflict.
I loved the characters and they made me love the movie, especially Makkari, Kingo and Druig. Makkari with the action scenes, Kingo with the humor and most surprisingly Druig who I didn't think I would love so much. I hope more people see this movie and Marvel making a sequel featuring most of these characters hopefully
Definitely agree with Coy about Thena..it was touching and emotional seeing her arc through the movie. Really beautiful.
Druig was the best character in the film, because he cared too much and hated seeing humans fight amongst themselves.
Man, John's the kind of guy I'd appreciate to have a conversation with. Good guy!
I genuinely loved Eternals… from the action scenes to the representation, it felt like the kind of superhero movie we need more of 🙏🏻❤️
I genuinely want a 3+ hours extended cut of Eternals. Give it to me. Give us more Kro, he was so menacing when he was onscreen, and he was onscreen for like 5 pointless minutes before being thrown away.
Why am I the only one really loving Gilgamesh? He was such a joy on screen. (Finally got a nod for Don Lee from John later in the video, thanks buddy!)
