As a Kansan I can tell you right now, they captured Ma and Pa Kent perfectly, if you go to central Kansas where Smallville would theoretically be, you can hear that exact same accent and see that exact type of people and houses, so I'm so happy with their casting and acting!
One of if not my favorite lines was about krypto when he says yeah he's not a good dog but hes alone and scared
5 hours?! Well damn. Perfect Monday work listen.
Greg should've been in the middle. It's weird seeing him glance to his right when he looks at Roxy but nobody is there from our POV
Oh hellll yeah, 5 hours? That’s my tomorrow set

Just got back from seeing it a second time and it was even better the second time around! I’ll be going to a third viewing with my dad this week. Can’t wait for him to see this. He’s going to love it!
I actually listened to this whole thing. Love listening to you guys.
3:00:18 Yes! I’m so glad that you noticed that moment. Such wonderful acting from Rachel as Lois, so subtle. I noticed in my first viewing and my appreciation for the moment only grew in my second viewing. I love that what convinces her to solidify her feelings is who Clark is rather than his identity as Superman. That’s what I’ve always loved about Lois and Clark, especially in this iteration, Superman & Lois, and Smallville— how much Lois loves Clark. In addition to loving the Lois & Clark scenes, as well as Jimmy, (and Hawkgirl & Green Lantern — I honestly love this cast so much, I’ve seen sooo many projects of all these actors/actresses),but Mr. Terrific was the most wonderful surprise for me — I love him and wanted more. Absolutely down for a movie with the Superman and Mr. Terrific duo you guys mentioned. ***Quick question: you guys mentioned being a little underwhelmed by Superman’s reaction to Ultraman as his clone, with his biggest reaction being “what the hell?” I wonder if you guys noticed that throughout the movie Superman never swears during the movie. Only saying things like “oh darn” or “oh my gosh”. When he says “what the hell” its the closest he ever gets to swearing with the exception of repeating the “supershit” nickname during Lex’s reveal. During a second watch, I realized that reaction and word usage was probably more meaningful than we realized. I’m wondering if you noticed this, share this perspective, or if the reaction still reads as underwhelming considering this. I’m interested to know if this might change your perspective. Always, thank you so much for the video everyone! Really enjoyed the whole conversation that you all had. I’m so sorry for the online negativity that has dampened some of your enjoyment for this film (and LOTR as Roxy mentioned). I hope that this livestream helped to reinvigorate that excitement and happiness for the film and I hope for the prior negativity to other films and/or reactions, I hope in time your able to enjoy them again without those negative comments coming back. Thanks for taking the time to have this discussion and share it with us. Happy early birthday Roxy (I’m a July baby as well). I hope you’re all well and have a beautiful day 😊❤
I wasn’t able to catch this live but the rejects are easily my favorite go-to outlet for personal in-depth details on film and media. Keep up all the positivity to everyone involved!
