Last story, as someone that delt with snakes and kids, absolutely never force a child to touch any animal they don’t want to. I’ve had parents try to pressure their kids into holding/touching the animals for a photo, then they get upset when i tell them i won’t force the kid to hold an animal they don’t want to

I will say, forcing a child to face their fears of exposed therapy like that wouldn't actually work. It was completely unnecessary what they did and make the situation worse

Suspending a 6 year old for TWO WEEK for leaving a classroom unattended is nuts. I’ve worked in schools where kids have gotten only one week suspension for fights. I’d take my kid out of that school ASAP holy shit.
