Story 3: depression is not being "really sad". It sucks ALL the energy and life out of the world and leaves you a charred dried up husk. There's nothing good about anything and it feels like that will never change. Dying would be a relief, because then you wouldn't feel useless and drowning in emotional pain.

I’m ngl Rslash telling a suicidal man to “just relax” all because they’ve got money & no ties to hold them back anymore was kinda rough to listen to…

Story 4: I remember this story, another channel covered it. Turns out, OP could sure her father's estate to get compensation for the full time *job* taking care of her father was. Something along the lines of even if the father "provided" housing and food, that is not considered a salary, and that if OP can prove that she didn't have any other job she can sue the estate to receive money for being a full time caretaker. I hope she does, and wins.

That response to the third story was just horrible... Imagine after spending all these years making YouTube content and suddenly Youtube or Reddit was just suddenly gone with no notice, how would you feel?

The AUDACITY of the husband in the second story to drain the emergency funds for some luxury tickets, and not even try to get a ticket for his own wife at the very least!

I pray OP #3 was told to spend some of that inheritance on intensive therapy. They need to heal from the stress of caregiving and losing their family, learn how to adult and figure out who they are and what they’d like to do with their life. They also should find a financial advisor, CPA, and attorney. I think they have enough money that if they’re smart, they can live a comfortable life and have some left over for any kids or donate to charity.

$12 Mil Story: Dabney, its easier said and done to just smile, pretend crippling depression isn't suffocating and paralyzing you every single second of the day and fly off to some sunny, exotic place. I can relate somewhat to OP and RSlash being so blasè and basically just saying, 'just smile and get over it!' is frustrating as fuck, if it were that simple and easy, no one would be depressed.

That op who took care of her dad needs to talk to a lawyer YESTERDAY. There is ABSOLUTELY a way she can get money from that inheritance, since their literal full time job was to care for her dad. I can GUARANTEE the math of how much she should have been compensated will NOT add up to how much her dad spent "taking care" of her those years, and she can absolutely send a bill against the inheritance to get what she rightfully should have gotten. Especially since that dad was getting kickbacks including them in his taxes, undoubtedly as well. And since the brother has already nuked the relationship as it is, they can feel no remorse in getting money from him as well.
