Car accident stories: i was also in a car accident. It wasn’t bad enough for me to be hospitalized, but it did total my car. Ice on the road caused me to veer off to the right and hit a tree. The woman who was driving behind me actually pulled up beside my totaled car and got out to make sure i was okay. I wish i had gotten her name, i was too shocked to thank her properly for taking the time to help me.
Guy: Who is this boy I saved? Rescuers: Sorry, we can't tell you that since he's a minor. News: TIMMY JOHNSON OF FREZNO CALIFORNIA WHO GOES TO ROCHAMBEU MIDDLESCHOOL...
First story. Holy hell. I felt guilty for taking a dollars worth of soda from the fountain drinks at work once.
As someone that worked at a company when it was closing, that doesn't surprise me at all. Employees stashing stuff to buy at high discount is super common, as is just walking out with stuff because they realize no one cares. Especially common when they don't give the employees any warning that the store will be closing until it's way too close for comfort and they have to panic about finding new employment.
Stalking story: I don't think OP realizes how much that incident affected them. It's natural to form that sort of attachment to someone in a time of crisis, and psychologically speaking, it can get really messy when circumstances get in the way of processing things healthily. I don't think they're malicious at all and I'm sympathetic to their need to make sure this kid is okay. I really hope they seek out some help for themselves because I'm not sure that they're aware they could still be dealing with the mental damage caused by witnessing this incident. This could easily spiral into something worse like them getting caught and having the worst assumed or the child finding out and feeling unsafe/watched. I really hope that OP gets help and makes peace with how things are before it does.
Car story: OP is having a trauma response. PTSD can be triggered by a lot of stuff. Therapy it is.

Yeah the liquidator doesn't care. He still gets paid. It's the shareholders' money you're stealing.
Story 3: Dad: Son, have you seen my cassette? Son: And I said no. You know, like a liar
Car Accident: It's odd. But warranted. He didn't go far on it, he just wanted to make sure the kid was alright, I can respect that.
