First Story: So many things wrong with this. The fire drills isn’t wrong, I think this is smart to prepare for a house fire. What IS wrong is not telling OP about it before doing it. OP's boyfriend is aware of OP's trauma with a house fire (or maybe he doesn’t or he didn’t pay attention because of him mentioning OP not talking about her experience with a house fire as much as him, which makes sense because not a lot of people want to relive trauma) and doesn’t give her a heads up that every Christmas him and his family do fire drills? He has a lot of apologizing to do

First OP tripped and hit her head during that fire drill. If something got wrong, she could have died - head injuries are no joke

Story 1: Imagine calling your girlfriend a b*tch for having a breakdown over a fire drill, especially when you did NOT tell her about it. Like, how DARE OP reacted like anyone would in this situation, right? Like, GOD, it's not THAT bad, which is what he probably said. Morbid past aside, the boyfriend and his family is very much in the wrong here for not telling her about it and expect her to read minds.

Bro, as someone who had their house burn down late 2023 certain things can trigger a panic attack and to PURPOSELY do this to someone you know this happened to-not even warning her??

For the tail thing, also look up vestigial tails. Humans used to have tails, some people get remainders. Be glad you got the tail, I got the pilonidol cyst from the LACK of a tail.

The boyfriend’s logic is stupid. It’s cool if his family found a fun way to deal with a tragedy but not everyone is them, just because OP doesn’t drone on and on about her trauma doesn’t mean it isn’t real. Sometimes not talking about it is a major indicator as to how serious it is and the boyfriend not even attempting to acknowledge shows how insensitive he is.

Story 1: there’s nothing wrong with wanting to practice fire drills, but what OP’s boyfriend and his family did is incredibly screwed up
