The first story is sad. The owner should get the parrot another companion yesterday.
10 years not realizing your kid is 'blind' is crazy
Since they are normally missed here when Rslash is reading some of these stories. Last story actually had updates. OP talked to the person doing the meeting who did admit they ramble at times. He then got called into a meeting with that guy and the guy’s supervisor. Turned out they liked that he was willing to be so blunt during a meeting and now are pulling him into other meetings to give feedback.
I thought the first one was gonna be about accidentally causing a bird to consider you a mate because you pet it's back/under the wings, glad it was something significantly goofier
Mickey Mouse one had me in TEARS
"Does Mickey have a message for me?" "Yes your mommy cheated on your daddy and he isn't your real father."
1:56 missed opportunity for "lovebirds"
I've been watching rSlash for a long time now, and I'm amazed by the amount of companies who will do an ad with their phone number on it, but have it be the wrong number but they won't correct it. Even if the person who is constantly getting called doesn't decide to mess with the company, they are still actively losing business.
Final story had an update: OP has become known as the guy who will Keep It Real and is now asked to weigh in at org meetings he does not care to, or need to be, involved with. He’s also actually a rather shy person so it’s not comfortable thing for him.
The "letting them win" strategy is HUGE with kids and teenagers. When I was a manager at a haunted house (most of my actors were 14-17), I purposely acted like the most jumpy nervous girl during all our trainings and costume rehearsals because I knew that if they all thought "damn, I'm good at this. I get her to scream with every different scare strategy I try" they would KEEP coming up with new scares. They would be confident when real customers came and if they first scare didnt make that group jump, they had multiple strategies to try immediately after and very rarely did they NOT get a scare. I would actually write up the managers under me if I heard them be demeaning while they walked through.
