"I thought it would be a conversation!" Lmao. "I want a divorce" is a hell of a conversation starter.

2nd story: Fun fact, in Nigeria, children belong to the man's family. So in event of divorce, the man usually gets the children.

First Story: This is a prime example of minding ur own business, don’t judge a book by it's cover, and don’t give unwanted advice. I hope this lady never forgets this moment

Third Story: What is going on between Jake and Maddie sounds like the dynamic of an abusive relationship. Maddie is sounding more and more like a victim. No siblings sit on each other's lap and get upset over how their sibling post or where the go out

3rd story: i feel like the brother is trapping the sister in this sort of abusive relationship, there’s so many, TOO many red flags, so the separation of them is the best thing

*4th Story:* A lot of comedians tell stories & jokes about their loved ones, but telling jokes about what your SO shared in their therapy sessions _on stage_ is definitely a line-crosser.

15:51 Her father's new partner is the rich one. Until that point, I'm assuming they weren't really rich

Can we all just agree that we shouldn't use children/teenagers as emotional crutches or places to trauma dump. That mother did the right thing by getting those kids apart. The son should not be texting his sister asking her what she's wearing and who she's with. Sounds like a jealous boyfriend. And your boyfriend shouldn't be doing that either. Let alone your brother.

3rd story: I'm guessing that OP's daughter is scared of him going back on drugs, and that she will have to find him overdosed again. And I think he picked up on that and started using it to guilt and pressure her into doing things. OP is right to separate them at that point. Even if they're not doing something explicitly wrong, then (as Rslash said) they're clearly becoming codependent to an unhealthy degree.

I’m gonna be honest the sibling story is alarming. Even if you excuse everything as “they are just super close” you can’t find an excuse to why the lil girl had her top backwards and was crying. I really think this should be investigated cuz the older brother is probably taking advantage of the sister
