Story 2: Both people suck here. The BF isn't making much effort in the relationship and constantly brushing aside OP’s wants, while OP inflicted and triggered trauma out of frustrations. I do wonder if the BF realized this is what his obnoxious friend must’ve felt when splashed with water

As a natural curl queen, that dad has me INFURIATED. My mom didn’t know how to take care of curls properly, and we didn’t learn a lot of stuff until I was in high school. She used to dry brush my hair (😭😭😭) and I used to wash it every day. Edit: oh fuck no that guy’s just a narcissistic piece of shit.

Story 3: The oldest daughter didn't just help, she'd also clearly thought about it herself.

12:05 Um, did anybody else catch this? The 3rd OP apparently threatened to stop financially supporting his wife and kids if he had to temporarily move out to remedy the situation HE caused?!

Man you know you’ve done a bad job as a parent when you’re kid decides to bail from the house and find someone else to live with.

Story 1: Yeah, I'm pretty sure the niece's prognosis isn't good, given the sudden plans to spend a lot of time with her.

Third Story, YTA: Sooo uhhh OP seems to think everyone's hair is the same. Different type of hairs take different kinds of conditioners and cleaning techniques to maintain it. That said, if OP really think this kid isn’t his why didn’t he get a DNA test instead of being an emotionally neglectful father to this girl. Oh that update makes things seem way worse than it is. No child would run away specifically to get away from their father. OP is hiding something and I think it's because he is more abusive than he lets on

3rd story. The fact that the older sister helped her run away should tell you this is WAY worse than hair care. 14 year olds can be irrational, but when even the older sister is like, “yeah, you need to gtfo out of this house” indicates it’s probablyreally bad.

Story 1: I bet right now OP is desperately trying to find at least one comment that agrees with him after realizing everyone thinks he’s a scumbag. Or deleting Red when he realize no one would take his side.. and the audacity of him to order his wife like she’s a servant.

10:34 I'm someone with curly hair and there's THOUSANDS of products specifically for all curl types. Cheap and expensive. My parents always gave me a hard time about not wanting to brush my hair until I finally convinced them that with the right stuff it would be more manageable. It wasn't until I was 25 that I finally figured out the right routine
