For story, one, and this is exactly why you never, ever ever, ever, under any circumstances, tell people that you won the lottery because people will be coming out of the woodwork, begging for money.😒

There’s an update to the second post and long story short second OP stood her ground and refused to apologize and the ex boyfriend threw a fit and left the friend group with two of his friends following.

Story one: Sit them all down together and ask them to figure how much each deserves then watch them turn on each other

For story 4 you don’t gain experience if you have a new boyfriend for such a short periods. If she wants what her parents have she has to first experience some level of commitment. She’s looking for something instant but what they have can only be built over time.

Story 2: sounds like GF is an insecure person who was upset that her BF still hangs out with his ex who looks, feels, and act better after the breakup. So she spent all day picking on OP to make herself feel better. Which is why the one time OP finally said something back. She starts crying like a baby. But that’s not OP’s problem to fix, and if she had to apologize, then so does the GF for causing a fight she couldn’t finish in the first place.

For the veal lady, I was just about to comment "Nobody tell her about chickens." I was pleasantly surprised to find out that's _exactly_ where the story was headed.

In the hit-and-run story, if he only had his learning permit then where was his Guardian that was in the car with him

The fifth story actually had an update. Basically, the reason the sister in law said what she to the daughter was because the sister talked to the husband about everything, the husband said he and OP were discussing things, but nothing else. The daughter wound up grilling the sister for info, and she said that OP was contributing, basically misinterpreting what her brother said. As for the husband, OP sat down and talked with him and even showed him the post and reactions. He read everything, and in response to comments that said she was selfish for not contributing, he promised she wasn’t and he apologized for getting her in the middle of everything. They then had a sit down with OP’s stepdaughter, and basically told her OP wasn’t contributing, and that the husband couldn’t afford to pay the tuition on the daughter’s preferred school. This resulted in the daughter freaking out on both of them, with OP and her husband standing their grounds.

AITA is such a weird place. Cause you’ll have people saying stuff like “hey, this person who’s treated me like crap for years is now demanding something insanely unreasonable from me…” and they’ll actually think THEY are the bad guy for not doing it…

Last story: so what I'm hearing is the kid was driving with his permit and a legal adult passenger, hit OP and then the legal adult advised the minor to just drive off? They're lucky I'm not their judge or they'd be in driving school until complete financial ruin.
