For story, one, NTA Op just called it what it is. They did not want a second kid, and therefore, they abused and neglected her.
Story 3: Ren faire worker here (Though my two ren faires don't have jousting, but we do have sword fighting). OP is NTA. If cheering scares your child, don't put them in a crowd of cheering people.
2nd story, OP should've asked the boss how he would've tried to solve it. Cause he obviously doesn't understand that solving a conflict only works when both sides agree to it. He probably has no experience in that matter too if the company is that small.
