I personally believe Sadie should get at least a 4/5 score. She told OP to end himself, and cyber stalked him. I don’t blame OP for wanting nothing to do with her. :(

Sadie beat every ounce of compassion and forgiveness out of OP that they could have had towards her.

Third Story, NTA: Carmila is using OP'S money for all this food she cooks thus OP gets to decide what gets purchased and what doesn’t. OP's son should be grateful OP is allowing them to live with her rent free and eat her food. I laughed when OP's son straight up TOLD (not asked) OP to give Carmila her card. That level of entitlement is insane

Being bullied by a parent doesn't give you the right to bully anyone else. Also sounds like Sadie NEVER apologized for her own behavior

Food Budget story: the son IS the AH, but I actually think Carmella is, too. If I was getting someone's groceries and wanted to get extra things, special things, with THEIR card, the FIRST thing I would ask is, "What's the budget?" or, "How much is it okay to spend on the extras that I want?" Plus, the Mom TRIED to set boundaries with her by telling her just one trip to the grocery store, but Carmella obviously didn't take this seriously as she "wanted to make steak later in the week", but didn't buy any. The whole argument only HAPPENED in the first place because she didn't listen to the instructions, and purposely brought this up in front of the son.

Bully did her bully thing his whole life. Now bully is family. Now the bully has convinced the family to bully her victim into getting along with her with no work involved. Classic.

Last story: and this is why you don’t tell anyone anything about your money. SIL just confirmed exactly what OP thought he would do if he knew about the trust fund. Would it be nice if they did something for the kids sure, but OP’s priority is her grandchildren, and they can do whatever they want with their money.

Sadie, a bully and someone who won't be accountable for her actions, she truly took after both her fathers
