I don't understand the obsession to make these devices as thin as possible. This really got out of hand. I'd happily accept a laptop a centimetre thicker and a kilogram heavier if that means longer battery run time, less heat, easier maintenance, less accidents braking stuff and generally a longer lifetime of the laptop. But that's probably why they don't do it: They want you to buy the next even thinner laptop earlier than that
