I love when governments decide not to slurp all the microslop
When major OS is so terrible, even goverments start to think about going linux instead
And thus, L`Ubuntu was born.
The have to call it “linu” lol
As a french person, i always get surprised when the government makes a good decision. Here it is, i am surprised.
Every time Microsoft Fs-up with a new Windows update the Little Penguin dances gleefully.
The Penguin’s super power is patience.

There’s a really practical reason for switching to Linux. Most of the French government computers have from 4 to 8 GB of RAM. Most of the processors don’t meet the windows 11 requirements nor the TPM standard. The expense of upgrading the RAM and purchasing a license for the operating system was factored in and the government had an easy choice. Instead of spending tens of billions on upgrading or buying new computers, switch to a version of Linux that the government was already using. The servers had already been Linux machines for a decade. In the end, it was really no choice at all.
Brussels called and they don't give a John Claude Van damme that you think Belgium is in France 😂😂
