The key thing to note here is between the M5.6 Willits-Ukiah earthquake and this M4.2, both major bend junctions in the San Andreas have experienced notable activity is rapid succession. Add in the Silver Springs Nevada swarm, the M6.0 Baja quake, and Venezuela and things are what I would call critical. This too may pass without incident, but the strain is only going up up up until a big one M7.0+ ruptures and releases the buildup...

whats crazy to me it was only a 4.4 . i was on a off ramp on top of castaic mountains , resting in my sleep cab laying down and suddenly felt the jolt , felt way more stronger then a 4.4
