My Mothers response to “I’m bored” was always, “What a wonderful opportunity for you to find something to do.”
23 Aug : clean for more than a year now 🤩

Spending time with your child for 20 minutes and listening to them. Was one of the best moments of this video that I will take away with me.
“If you do too much for your kids, you build your self esteem by stealing theirs.” 💡
I had severe anxiety and was put on ssrs for years. I got off of them and got rid of all the negative people in my life including some family. I uninstalled all social media platforms except YouTube. I have not had an anxiety episode in about two years now. I am a firm believer in keeping a positive circle around yourself.
Every night we all snuggled right before bedtime as a family on our big bed and read to the babies and my oldest baby asked me to point at each word as I read it. When my kids could read on their own we still all snuggled but with our own books. This did several wonderful things; it made reading a beloved and calming activity for my children for life, it made bedtime a peaceful time, and they developed enhanced academic skills. Also incorporate music, sing with your children, introduce instruments. Take them out into nature daily. Encourage them to experiment with hobbies and skills. Smile, it transmits joy!
being 19 and watching this i realize how absolutely horrible ive been treating my brain and my body as a whole
I was a severe drug addict from 14-20 years old, started smoking and drinking at 11 😳 The way I function is totally different today, I’m 7 years sober, and each year of sobriety it’s like I could visually see the change in my thoughts / actions. I had been diagnosed with countless mental disorders/personality disorders, which not a single one is currently present, I couldn’t maintain friendships/relationships with anyone, at all. I’m getting married in 31 days. I was a severe street addict, but I believe alcohol and weed can be just as detrimental as h3roin /m3th/xan4x etc. If you want to change your life, like really and truly want to change, getting sober is the most beneficial thing I’ve ever done for myself and my family.
I've learned that getting to bed too late impacts my brain more then I thought.... forcing myself to go to bed at a set time.
