I'm kind of glad he represented himself. There won't be that taint on a lawyer who defended him. He saved at least one person from having that on THEIR conscience.

The jury "did the right thing", he asked for it, he got it.

Being hit by 76 GUILTY verdicts is nothing in comparison to the toll of a red Ford SUV. Sad that this is as much justice as those families will ever know. 💔💜💔

I feel like he has never been held truly accountable in his life and didn't think he would be once again. I think he is shocked and in disbelief that someone finally held him accountable for his actions and that he couldn't get his way.

I’m glad Ericka’s battery was also kept in, many times the lesser charges are dismissed when larger crimes are committed at the same time. She deserves the justice as well. My heart is with all impacted by this tragedy. So unnecessary.

When you have been a victim there is no actual justice. The trauma cannot be erased.

Would be interesting to see a juror watch the trial back and see how he acted during the entire trial while they were out of the room since they only got snippets of his terrible attitude.

The guy who made the comment in the gallery was one of the victim's sons. The way I understand it from the CourtTV commentator it was one of the Dancing Grannies who had flown up on Brooks hood then ran over by him. The judge allowed him back in stating that it wasn't fair to kick him out after allowing Brooks back in so many times
