Alec right now: „You get a lawsuit“,,“You get a lawsuit“,,“You get a lawsuit“
No matter where you work anytime they try to cut corners to save money and time that’s when you gotta be strong and slow down and deliberately do things correctly. Never let them push you
You can't tell me the armored was acting responsibly, letting that mess of live rounds onto set!
A gun being so dirty that ammo can't be inserted implies that the gun had been heavily used, leaving a huge amount of residue, and not properly cleaned afterwards. Which sort of seems to confirm the email about the gun being used elsewhere too, but by someone who doesn't know or care about basic gun care.
I was imagining stray boxes or something, but they don't have any fucking boxes at all, they just have everything sitting out anywhere and everywhere. This was a completely preventable situation
The more I hear about this case, the sadder it makes me feel. I can't imagine how her family feels. If it weren't for the negligence, she would be alive. Her death was totally avoidable.
Years ago I was looking for a therapist for my son, who was about five at the time. We went for an intake appointment at a behavioral office recommended to us. This office looked like the pictures, bins and boxes and just crap everywhere. We left and never went back. Lack of professionalism and a dirty workspace says a lot.
I like how they're asking "what went wrong"? The question seems to be "What went right??!!!"

I've played a police officer in several films and have done a few westerns. The way that Baldwin describes it is exactly the protocol that is on all sets that I have been on. I have never worked with an armorer who acted irresponsibly like this. They are always really strict about every single detail of how the guns are checked, how they are received, and how they are returned.
