Hearing you say there were a lot of years where you couldn't choose being a mom over work really hit me. I've always been the bread winner in my family with two young sons while my hubby stayed home. My husband recently got a job that pays pretty well and with schooling he can make even more. He made a comment last night about how hes going to go to school so I can be a stay at home mom and I started crying! Like tears of joy! I didn't even know I was holding all that in! I guess I just never even let myself dare to want it because I had told myself I just never could. Like what I want to do was always overshadowed by what I MUST do. I hope to send you a super chat someday announcing that I quit my job and I'm a stay at home mom. Ok rant over ❤️😅 love ya
I found you during the Deep v Heard trial & have been here ever since!! Love everything you do & how you do it, Emily, thank you!
Love, that your teens trust you enough to have these conversations with you.
Oh my gawd we need shirts that say “never forget armpit coroner” and “do I have to answer that?” 😂😂😂😂
Replay crew here: I was born with cerebral palsy and at least two lesions on my brain. When I say neuro-spicy, I mean I can’t fall asleep unless I’m listening to something that I want to hear. Keep talking about it, I wish it was recognized when I was little in the 70s.
Yesterday I heard lawyer you know about Daybel lawyer and he said: "as Emily would say: I have questions!" The Gospel is being spread !!❤
You never have to apologize for being a good mom. Always be the good mom first.
This what is great about reputable law podcasts like yours, LYK, and Runkle. You read th court docs and you tell us when you are speculating or sharing your past experience, and answering questions. You tell us what ypuve heard but that hasnt been proven. You three also reiterate what your goals are and how you do it. You let people make their comments but you make sure we know what you're stating as facts or not. The news doesn't care what they report including if it is not accurate. They cut and paste recordings so it sounds like someone said something they didn't or completely take it out of context. This is why our favorite sheriff Judd Grady of Polk County, FL started doing his own streams. He'd have a record of what he said and showed and the news better watch they say because we can see what actually said any time we want. And he is exceptional and would never be elected in CA. So we lawnerds take everything with a grain of salt and listen to quality podcasts with reputable lawyers. But most don't do that.
I heard the words “keep bad books away kids”, on the news today. I asked my husband what is wrong with books unless they promote hate? ❤
Finally! I found a place to watch this trial without the noise. Thank you Emily
