I don't care how old she is, I always told my daughter since this is a phone era, act like you taking a selfie/video and show me everybody in the space and who you with. Don't give us no nicknames. We need government names of who you with as well. Was also told never be the only girl in a room full of guys too.Especially when there's liquor involved. I could go on and on. They may think you're nagging but make it your business to be all up in their business. Praying for Nolan's family and all that loved him. Awesome guys, The Pivot!!!

This is good fellas. I agree. As parents we have to know where are kids are, who they are hanging with, and who the other parent's are.

I’m a “seasoned” adult, and my kids have my location. It’s for safety reasons, period. We have to not worry about our kids being offended, we must know where they are. I the world we live in now, there are way too many variables, especially realizing that not all kids are raised the same. I pray for his family and that the actual truth be revealed. 🙏🏽

Real Talk… “When things like this go away, that’s when we’ll stop talking about it”. Amen!

My mother didn’t play that. I need to meet your “friends” and their parents Associates are just that….Associates! I tell my kids and their friends the same thing. I have my kids friends come to my house and we have the talk. This is what you can and cannot do at my house. You have one time to act an ass at my house. That will be your last and you will be escorted to the door. My friends who don’t have kids say I’m a momma bear. I sure am because I buried a child and I never want to have to do that again. Thank you Gentlemen for having this discussion. ❤

I agree 1000% … we were very strict on our boys when they were teens - both went to private schools in Florida……. I had a tracker on my car that shared location, speed and if you were out of the allowed location boundaries… my sons both graduated from PWIs. It was a full time job to keep them safe through adulthood…my sincere condolences to the Wells family.🙏🏾

This conversation is so powerful, exactly what’s in my head, as a mom of an 18 year old. Thank you for this dialogue
