I’m so glad that you mentioned how hard it is to reintegrate back into civilian life after military service. I served for 22 years, being told what to think, what to wear, where to be, what time to be there…. after retiring, I didn’t even know who I was. I knew who I was as an NCO, a Soldier, but not who Evelyn was. And I’m learning who I am daily. Depression was overwhelming - I was almost one of those 22. But God….but God. I honestly think that there should be more focus on mental health when exiting the military. Thanks for sharing your story.
I served with Randy Adams. He is a good man, and he truly does have guts to push through adversity. I am proud of him.
Now this is a PIVOT Conversation. Thank you. God Bless you SGT Randy🙏🏽🫶
When he paused before telling his story about seeing himself for the first time my heart sank. Thank you for your precious service Sgt. Randy and may God continue to protect, guide, and comfort you!❤
When you can feel the anointing through the screen. Sgt. Andrews is an awesome vessel for God and his greatness!!
Emmy worthy podcast! Raw, real and God’s Truth! Thank you for sharing your testimony ❤❤❤
Have to appreciate their interview skills. It's refreshing to not have ppl cutting ppl off
I was recently in Chicago at a hotel that was connected to Northwestern where my soul brother was battling pancreatic cancer and I ran into this amazing brother on the elevator and just like my constant state of curiosity I said “Heyhey brother, what happened? What happened”. He had extremely high energy every time I ran into him in the hotel and he was pumping up the love for his folks around him which gave me a little bit of fuel while I watched my hero brother for 50 yrs go thru his battle. When I left Chicago I became numb and after my brothers military service I went off the grid and somehow this pops up and here he is again. What’s up fam? Thanks for the lift my brother and thanks Pivot fam for giving him some space to share his story.
Fred, I didn’t think you were going to ask, him what was his biggest Pivot. But you said it exactly right.
Thanks to the Pivot for tackling stories outside of the box. This one made me stop and pause.
