Linus did in fact not utter two opposing things there. He said that it will impact skilled labor. He said it's not as revolutionary as people claim. Those things are not in opposition in any way. All it's saying is there's new technology and it will impact how people do their job. And at the same time he's saying this new technology is not the be-all end-all and won't replace people. Pretty easy to understand to be honest
