Don’t tell …but sometimes when I’m at the grocery store, I will glance inside the grocery cart of someone who looks fit and healthy.
One more I'd like to add: Delayed gratification. Fitness takes years to see significant results. The ability to work at it day in and day out and not see any results for months is something that not everyone can do. Most people stop after a couple of weeks because they are not seeing the results they expected.
Another big one: They don’t snack. People that are overweight tend to eat at times outside of meals. Thin people only eat when it’s time to eat. We don’t feel hunger as being all that uncomfortable. It’s not a big deal, we can wait till mealtime.

So VERY true. I came from an obese family and grew up and lived much of my life obese. I learned certain principles about the way thin people eat and God helps me to change the way I approached life and I have been thin ever since. It's been almost 15 years now. A true life change. Obesity isn't something I was born with, but a way of life that I learned.
My older cousin is a dairy farmer. Dude lives on coffee and cigarettes. He's shredded. He hardly eats. Pretty much meat and taters for dinner on work days and eggs and bacon for breakfast on his days off. Like clock work. Does ZERO workouts. Just working on the farm for 12 to 14 hours a day for the past 40 years. He's darn near 70 and I'd bet he would pretty much take out any kids from this generation with one hand tied behind his back. I just took him on his first trip to Vegas last week. He wanted to see it all. We walked 57 miles in 3 days. His legs were giving out on the stairs at day 3, but for a 68 year old man, that was pretty impressive!
Water with lemon is a game changer. And add a pinch of Celtic salt.
