as a licensed clinical social worker I can NEVER date a patient no matter how long after we work together
I'm actually mad that the guy in S6 actually said "I'm a good husband, I've never even cheated" like that makes you a good husband, smh the bar is in HELL
I don't think celebrities or influencers need to disclose plastic surgery UNLESS they are selling a product that is impacted by those results. Like, don't sell a booty workout if you've had a BBL. Don't sell an facial anti-aging product if you've had a face lift.
It is such a self-centered thought to think "the other person should disclose if they have something I dislike because they should know that they have made themself dislikeable not only to me but to everyone" rather than the sensible thought of "I should disclose what I dislike so if the other person has it they can know immediately that this will not work"
Story 3: I was groomed by and entered a relationship with a man who was my drug/alcohol counselor. We started our relationship after I began treatment and it continued well after I had finished. It was later discovered by his boss (small town) and he broke things off but made me promise to keep it a secret. Later on, after A LOT of therapy I reported him to the board that gave him his license. After an investigation I found out I was one of 5 different clients he’d been found to have inappropriate relationships with. They just weren’t able to do anything because all of the reports were by third parties. I was the first actual victim to come forward. And I had receipts.
Story 3: I’m currently in college for my masters in psychology and this woman needs to lose her license. This is NOT acceptable. Especially given that this was a couples counselor and the way sessions were handled. There is so much unethical behavior going on; she has no business in that line of work.
I think in Story 5 his friend is being way too light on him. If my friend was constantly complaining about not finding a girlfriend but was making rude comments to women and then said a potential match was ugly, I would say “okay? So are you.” It’s giving “male loneliness epidemic”
53:33 my daughter taught me something she learned from her psychologist at school, tattling is to get someone in trouble, telling is to keep someone safe. That is a perfect way to look at it and I encourage anyone to report when they feel unsafe or that others are at risk.😊
Story 1: “men prefer natural women” is a CRAZY thing to say if you can’t tell who has and hasn’t had work done. Like fuck right off sir 😂😂😂
With the guy who says he’s not in love with his wife, with the epic love comment he made, I wonder if he’s misconstruing what love is. Love isn’t always epic, movie screen worthy, etc. Sometimes love is quieter, gentler, and potentially stronger for it.
