Even the bacteria have more friends than me lol
This is incredible. I've heard about an analog before that our body is the starship and bacteria are the crew. Now that I've learned they are actually communicating too... bacteria seem to be more and more fascinating.
We got bacteria Radio before GTA6
Anton, your content is just plainly one of the best science channels out there. You explain everything in such a brilliant way, while also always staying neutral but enthusiastic about the newest discoveries - it absolutely makes me want to love everything about science! And the pure consistency of it! One 10-15min video a day. I mean, sure you film a couple in succession, but still the level of consistency is just fantastic. Thank you Anton and crew!
This is why eukaryotic cells are possible. They use communication that came with mitochondria back when they were bacteria. Otherwise, multicellular life wouldn't be possible.
We carry around our own little universe of chemicals and bacteria having conversations, fights and reactions.. I always thought that was very cool!
This sounds like we are seeing one of the factors in what became the development of multicellular life.
Fascinating. Let's hope that this opens up a whole new branch of medicine.
"Distributed Intelligence".
It is insane how no matter how much you learn, you end up finding a lot more than you knew nothing about! Thanks for sharing all these random exciting stuff on your Channel, Anton!
