i’m just glad we’re seeing kids go outside again instead of being glued to their ipad screens
The real horror of the movie was seeing what Alex went through, it genuinely put a pit in my stomach. Kudos to the young actor for doing such a fantastic and believable job with the role as well. Glad Alex was the one to give Gladys her comeuppance.
Josh brolins “WHAT THE FUCK!” Is the funniest and most relatable line yet
The opening narration specifically said they "never came back" which I think means they never fully came back to their former selves after being gone for so long
The scene where she gets inside the car made my entire theatre gasp, and everyone laughed a few seconds later because of the collective fear. 10/10 experience
Apparently David Fincher also really loved this movie and called Josh Brolin's impromptu "What the fuck‽" line his favorite R-rated movie line ever.
Jon unknowingly guessed the major ending plot point in the beginning of the reaction when he said, "they're going to rip her to shreds". Well done sir
The children killing the evil witch seems like a classic old fairytale.
The opening narration says that the kids “never came back” more in a mental sense
