The People Are Ill: Vision Boards, Bathroom Boundaries, and Postpartum Rage
Examine chaotic relationship dynamics, from creepy coworker manifestations to husbands neglecting severe postpartum needs. Discover which boundary violations demand immediate action—or a breakup.
Short Summary
- Navigate extreme examples of relationship disrespect, including spousal neglect during critical healing phases following childbirth.
- Analyze boundary issues stemming from strange workplace behavior (vision boards) and deeply personal habits (sneezing, showering).
- Review conflict resolution success stories, noting where partners showed high accountability versus those who permanently deflected blame.
This episode dives into listener submissions centered on whether people are truly ill or simply boundary-pushing. We assess behavior ranging from the bizarrely obsessive to the deeply neglectful, offering clarity on when to walk away versus when to offer guidance.

I think unfortunately Lauren is proving why people aren't fans of swifties - they believe she is infallible and that all criticism of her actions (or lack there of) are people just being "haters". I love a lot of artists for their music but particularly don't identify with their "fandoms" for that reason as well (*cough*army*cough*). This BIL is clearly unhinged so this doesn't relate to this story, but I think its important for swifties to recognize that criticism of her as a person is valid. LOVE Lauren and her passion though <333333
Taylor swift has allowed homeland security to use her music in an ad for ice
Saying that the only reason to hate Taylor is because her music makes people happy is crazy since you can say that about literally any artist 😅
Taylor had to go through so much with all the billions of dollars, so rough
Love Lauren! But its actually scary to see all empathy, logic and calmness being thrown out the window for the sake of some celebrity 😅
The 6th Story is crazy. He was on partenity leave and he couldn't even heat her food. WTF!!! I'm so mad for her, I hope she left him
Lauren I love you so much bbgirl but judging people for disliking Taylor Swift as a person is the exact same as judging people for liking her
Celebrity obsession is weird wether it’s worship or hated. No body really knows who celebrities are because they put out carefully crafted personas that fit the niche and vibe they’re trying to sell you.
Saying it's unreasonable to hate someone you've never met while celebrating that you collect all of their merch, and can't exist in your home without having their music on - that's two sides of the same delusional coin.
As a mom, the postpartum one made me raggggeeee also! It makes me so grateful for my husband. He helped a lot, was supportive of all my wishes, and I still struggled. I can’t imagine having to deal with a partner that is not only not supportive but actively making things harder.
