The confusion on the family in story one is sending me lmaooo. OP is married to spouse. Spouse has a sibling. That sibling is OP's sister in law. That sister in law is married to a spouse who lost their mother.

*story one:* I think the fact that the brother-in-law was able to SO QUICKLY identify that cookbook as his mom's means either she made it herself (or maybe it was handmade by one of her grandparents) and it's not some generic cookbook, so OP should give it back

Anesthesia story: The husband completely EXPECTED to wake up talking about how much he loves his spouse! That's why he asked OP to film it and was excited to ask to watch it!!!

I swear 90% of the time when a woman asks if something her boyfriend/husband/fiancé is doing is "normal" and if they're "overreacting" for being hurt by it, all I can think is "honey he *hates* you"

I don’t know if anyone said this, but I think if the husband from the third story thought he would have that kind of reaction after waking up or was worried that he subconsciously didn’t like his wife, he would not have told her to film him. It sounds like he wanted to be filmed because he loves his wife that much and he thought he’d have a cute reaction.

Story 2: Damien Haas from smosh said something like “brutal honesty is more about the brutality than the honesty” on a similar Reddit story. It’s just a poor excuse to be mean
