My takeaway from this interview was that most of us don't have financial access to the testing we need to get this information about ourselves. So.. health is for the rich in this country.
Thanks for actually caring about older women, Steven! You're a rarity, sadly. Great podcast. Your popularity is well deserved 👍
I’m 56 and I recently learned that the opposite of stress anxiety and depression isn’t peace and contentment its creativity. Get dancing, painting, writing, gardening, knitting, crocheting, drawing, pottery or anything along the lines of creating things… it will change your life so you thrive even more than you are now xx
I wasn’t planning on commenting, but maybe someone here needs this. For the longest time, I felt like I was running on empty—my body exhausted, my mind scattered, always feeling just a little off without knowing exactly why. I tried so many things—vitamins, different routines—but nothing seemed to bring me back to center. Then I stumbled across The Hidden Herbs by Anette Ray, and it felt like reconnecting with something ancient and forgotten. Learning about the healing plants that have been quietly supporting us for centuries—it gave me not just remedies, but a sense of grounding I didn’t know I was missing. It’s not about quick fixes or miracle cures; it’s about remembering the wisdom that’s always been there. If you’re feeling worn out, disconnected from yourself, maybe this is the gentle reminder you need too.

Brave lady. A medical doctor talking about holistic health living. You go Dr. Sara Szal
I feel like from experience the best cope(not cure ) youre going to get it: -exercise 20 minutes or less calisthenics, pilates or slow weighted workout(view youre workout as physical therapy) -walk, walk walk some more preferable outside perhaps with a pet 🐕 -sleep is important (naps are good) -Cut back on caffeine and hydrate with water and water heavy fruits and veg. -mindfulness(puzzles, crochet, mechanical, woodworking etc) -find purpose in helping others -low carb, sugar free(for some gluten and dairy free). Pretend you're a diabetic and act accordingly. Common sense things but not always easy to start.
Thanks Steve for starting the conversation for women worldwide. I appreciate that you are not shy to talk about issues woman-related ❤
I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Functional Medicine and it is great to see more providers speaking out loud on alternative methods for treatment instead of apply a band-aid to mask symptoms.
When I turned 50 and entered menopause, I had very few resources, and my doctors didn't explain much or seem to care. For the past eight years, l've been going through the hell of menopause, dealing with body changes, cortisol spikes, estrogen and not knowing what the hell is happening to my body. The overwhelming feeling that I was losing my mind. Your show has provided the knowledge and clarity I needed, helping me realize I wasn't crazy. I was just going through something that so many men and women don't fully understand because doctors often avoid the truth. Thank you Steven for addressing this important topic🙏🏽it has truly made a difference for viewers like me. PS.. omg Dr Sara Szal nailed it❤❤❤
