Chuck is secretly one of the greatest philosophical minds we’ve yet to discover. He’s just preoccupied with jokes and science rn 😂😂😂

Neil deGrasse Tyson deserves a tremendous amount of credit for recognizing the moment and stepping back to let Chuck take over at the end of the episode. I’ve seen a lot of unfair criticism of Neil for doing most of the talking on his own show, but this episode proved to me that he genuinely listens and is fully aware of his co-host. This was, by far, one of my favorite episodes.

Chuck has literally been my favorite part of Star Talk for the last year or so. He such a fascinating onion. Every once in a while another layer is revealed. And far from just being a comic co-host, is easily holding his own in conversations with phds on the regular. Love you Chuck.

This is the first time I think I’ve heard the direct discussion of God on the show in more than just a passing way. I really appreciated the discussion and I think it was respectful yet thoughtful. I’m similar to Chuck with his background, just a different denomination. I ended up questioning and leaving the faith that I was raised in. Shows like this one have helped me to always look for the reason and logic behind something and to seek to understand things I don’t know anything about. Thank you for being a science educator and continuing to put out this type of content on a regular basis.
