Let’s talk about how to predict a silent stroke. It’s important to understand the nature of a stroke, how the body reacts to it, and how to avoid a stroke. A silent stroke is a stroke that occurs without any symptoms. The damage it creates in the brain doesn’t affect vital areas, so you might not even know you had a stroke. The only cues of a silent stroke could be a small lapse in memory, fatigue, dizziness, or a mood change. But, one source states that they occur five times more often than strokes that produce classic symptoms. If a person has a stroke, they have an increased risk of having another one. Strokes are the second leading cause of death in the world. One of the most common types of strokes involves a blood clot originating from an artery in the brain. A blood clot is a mechanism of healing a bleeding situation. So we need to look at what causes blood clots and the actual root causes of a stroke. Potential root causes of a stroke: • High levels of sugar in the blood • An adrenaline spike from chronic stress • Side effects from certain medications • Smoking • Hypertension (insulin resistance, potassium deficiency, vitamin D deficiency) Top predictors of a stroke: • A high-carb diet • Diabetes • Not consuming enough salad • Stress • A sedentary lifestyle Top ways to help prevent a stroke: 1. Get on the keto diet and do intermittent fasting 2. Consume plenty of salad 3. Exercise regularly 4. Consume nutrient-dense foods Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Just noticed a mistake. The arteries in the neck are corotids, not cornonary. Coronary arteries are in the heart.

In 2018 I had 9 ACA strokes which left me paralyzed in in all but my right arm. At the time I had been eating plant based foods, walking 3-7 miles everyday, going to the gym 3 days a week, and last physical was told I was in perfect health. I went to my doctor after the first stroke and she thought I had nerve issues in my neck because after a short time paralysis would get better. I had one of my strokes in front of my sister who ran a stroke ward at her hospital. She did a stroke assessment on my which she even said “well at least your not having a stroke”. Because an ACA stroke is different as it does not present the same symptoms as 99% of strokes that occur. My diagnosis finally came through after my ninth stroke, but damage was done. I was told I would never walk again. I am walking today and my goal is to be able to run one mile one day. Please listen to your body. I have been watching Dr Berg for about 6 years and I believe that a lot of information he has passed along has helped on my recovery.

As a facility manager of a neurological center which focuses on stroke patients and patients who suffered an aneurysm i can say: Most of the people in our facility are diabetic, heavy smokers and were overweight.

I'm new to your channel and I couldn't be more thankful for the way you present each of your videos. I've learned so much in such a short time and have made some significant changes in my diet that are showing results already. I've had 3 strokes and wish you had been part of my life before they happened.

My husband had a mini stroke last week and his symptoms weren’t classic. He just stepped out of the shower and stood there with complete confusion and 45 minutes of memory loss, so unlike him. Went to ER, ran all tests and it was a TIA.
