People will charge you several thousands of dollars for this kind of coaching, and you are offering it here as accessible educational material. Thank you.
Hi Scooba Steve, what do you write in your little notebook during these kinds of interview?
Yes, I need to ensure I sound as true senior-level to give the interviewers the right seniority signals.
How do your recommendations to keep answers short and to the point (around 11:35) reconcile with the STAR method and others? I've heard people recommend taking a few minutes to fully answer a question, going through the Situation, Task, etc. which is more like providing background before answering the actual question. Are you suggesting to flip this around somewhat?
1. Decode questions deeply 2. Answer question fast 3. Pause+ Checkpoint instead of ramble
Also hit academic probation for uc davis. I think like 2x. Somehow still passed. But took longer to grad and average outcomes vs just going to state school.
This is a great course!! If people can nail what you're teaching here, they'll progress so much further in interviews
