Life is truly complex, and it's really hard to get to the core of everything. You have to fully dedicate yourself to just one thing if you want to master it. When it comes to this topic, a book that helped me is called Neural Rebirth Codes by Orson Kingsley. They say it’s a bit hard to find, so if you come across it and want to improve your life—let me know what you think.
This 30 minute "Essentials" format is great. Short enough to not procastinate on watching it, long enough to actually get all the important info and go more in depth than a 10-minute one.
My summary: 1. Epinephrine: Cup of coffee, good night’s sleep: Master sleep schedule. 2. When you feel unmotivated, remember why you want to make that change. 3. Psytocholin: Nicotine - chew Nicolette gum (only during peak focus time - not more than 1 a day). 4. Visual focus - Constrict your field of vision - focus both eyes on one single point. Make inter-pupillary distance smaller. Focus your vision on a small window of the screen or paper. 5. If you have to listen to someone with full attention, dont look them in the eye. If you look them in the eye, you will see more of their lips moving and hear more of your own thoughts than what they are saying. Maybe close your eyes and focus on what they are saying. 6. If you are feeling agitated, and you are feeling that u are not able to focus and you are not doing it right, you are actually doing it right. It’s the reaction of the rise of epinephrine. 7. Focus time: Sessions of 90 mins. Let the mind drift after a focussed session. Walks or bike rides during these times are also great. You cannot do “deep work” all day long. Its impossible. Dont try to engage your mind for maximum focus all the time. 8. Neuroplasticity does not occur during wakefulness. It occurs during sleep. Deep sleep is essential. Also NSDR (Yoga Nidra) is really important.

If you're reading this right now, I just want to say; I'm rooting for you. We’re strangers, but that doesn’t mean I don’t care. I know what it’s like to feel like you're pushing a boulder uphill. I felt that way until I picked up Manifest and Receive by Eva Hartley I can’t explain it perfectly, but it changed my whole perspective. After checking it out on youtube and reading it things have been flowing—money, peace, confidence. maybe this is your moment too. Stay open. Wishing you more than you ever imagined✨
What really blows my mind is how little curiosity people have when it comes to manifestation and the deeper mechanics behind it. Most folks are satisfied with the recycled "think positive and visualize" narrative - which sure has its place - but that's just the surface. There's a whole architecture of laws and principles underneath that most never even touch. The fact that so few have heard of Owen Hermsting someone who spent years decoding this hidden structure and laid it all out in The Law Behind the Laws says everything. People aren't necessarily lacking potential - they're just not willing to question beyond the obvious. And that comfort zone? It's costing them their freedom.
I had untreated ADD for 28 years of my life, at some point i tough i would never recover from that. I was a failure at school and i was struggling to learn anything. Teachers saw me as an uninterested, lunatic that had no interest at achieving anything. Now 6 years later after treatment, i feel I'm getting out of a fog, i went back to school, did college, and now studying electrical engineering.
To anyone who's suffering depression, anxiety, insomnia and other mental health problems, you are not alone. I feel you. You are so brave. You are doing so well. I'm proud of you. I'm sending you a virtual hug ❤ what helped me get out of that dark spiral was journaling and mindfulness from Shift Your Mind by Alexander Brooks. The anxiety that used to control my whole day barely shows up now!
I'm a Chinese students in final exam week, today I tried those method and feel significantly improved in my focusing. I just wanna to say thank you Prof. Huberman!
