My wife and I have been sleeping separately for 15 years now. We both sleep better separately. She’s a night owl. I’m an early riser. She’s cold. I’m hot. We take care of intimacy separately and regularly.
Just as I always suspected. Now, forwarding this to my wife...
One of the best things we ever did was buy a Super King bed. The space to not disturb the other is fantastic.
top reason is snoring.
Every couple needs to figure out what works best for them. My parents shared a full sized bed for 60 years, they hated sleeping apart.
I've always done king size bed with multiple blankets. Seems to help a lot.
I like how they were able to discuss the topic with maturity.
My wife and I sleep in the same bed but have king bed with two twin duvet covers. This approach splits the difference for us since no one is pulling on the covers
My parents were together for 63 years. Mom said she never slept well when he was home (he snored), and Dad said he never slept well when he was on the road, away from her.
