HOLD ON. That first story... 9th grade to college age. Physically active relationship for 3 years with a guy 5 years younger than OP's mother. This was a grown adult getting frisky with a 15-year-old. A teacher at a high school boinking with a student in a conservative town who'd attack the KID if he admitted to having been intimate with a man, whose mother was at the very least neglectful. Yikes, someone call the cops on that one.

Story 1: I wonder if that teacher went after op's mom to get close to op again. There's no chance he isn't aware of their connection

It took your sister 2 hours instead of 20 minutes to drive to give police the statements was because she was busy helping the "friend" get away and hide. Your sister should be charged for child endangerment.

Story 3: Tf she mean an actual creep endangering her own child is "no big deal"? I think OP might have to start looking to separate the nephew from her, because nobody should be ok with this

Story 3: It is an uncomfortable but factual truth that for many exploited children, there are not only active abuser(s), but abuse enablers, often the victim's own parents. OP's sister is as much a creep as her friend, and OP needs to do everything in her power to protect her nephew from his own mother.

Story 3: Call CPS on the sister IMMEDIATELY. Holy HELL.

6:40 I am SO happy OP tracked down the creep. I was thinking that if the sister had Facebook since high school, there's a big chance there are tagged photos with the guy. The nephew sounds like a good and responsible kid, he doesn't deserve this.

I hope the nephew in the third story is able to live with OP. I also hope there will be an update, because I want to know what's up with that mom!

the last story is a good palette cleanser after all the others. it's harmless and funny and not horrifying

As a poly person, it is incredibly easy for misunderstandings like this last story to happen. It made me laugh cause I could see where it was going at the outset. There's a reason why memes like "The Greater Portland Polycule" exist and it's because of situations like this.
