My parents have cable still and I can confirm that every major network is running ai ads now. Ai visuals, music, scripts, voicover, everything. It’s not just espn
Roku TV has nonstop AI ads. Was at a family outing and listening to the tv in the back and it served like 30 minutes straight of AI ads. It’s poisoning the elderly unironically
Here in Poland like half of the TV commercials are AI generated now. Most of younger generation don't watch TV at all but whenever you visit your family you'll be exposed to this garbage
ESPN is owned by Disney, just incase anyone has forgot
“Don’t take the 1am ESPN AI Viagra pills, worst mistake of my life” I can see the creepypasta title already
My favorite quote about this kind of situation: "You know what I realize about AI images in your marketing? It sends out the message that you've got no budget. It's the digital equivalent of wearing an obviously fake Chanel bag. Your whole brand immediately appears feeble and impoverished."
As someone who has recently been exposed to regular network TV after being away for over a decade, it's every station. Every network is running AI ads.
The people in charge of these advertisements at ESPN probably have no idea how AI these obviously-AI advertisements look. Expect more slop like this from them.
Got an AI ad here on YouTube a few days ago, no joke it said "been in a car accident? Don't go to a lawyer, use this free ai app instead" it's so disgusting and borderline illegal! I tuned off the setting allowing google to recommend ads based on my search history and now it's non stop ai slop.
