Hey Rslash, just wanted you to know that I’ve been watching your videos every single day, without fail, for about 6.5 years. You’ve been with me through high school, college, and now my first big-girl job. Thanks for all you do!!!

"why do companies...?" - identity-protective cognition. They are not merely protecting the bad manager; they are protecting their own judgement and the managerial system with which they identify.

"Shit" being uncensored a couple of times in that last story while the sole use of "crap" was? Fantastic.

The reason why many managers get away with this stuff is mainly nepotism. They have a friend or family member higher in the company that covers for them.

I think it is mostly because we are forced to tolerate toxic people even when they are bosses because of so-called authority, which is total BS

That first story reminds me so much of my own dad. Sounds just like something that he’d do. He was a very kind man and would give you the shirt off his back, but if someone slighted him, he definitely had the patience to plot a revenge. He also had a tractor and I can just picture him moving some ‘field ornaments’ around to irritate someone.

(Possible) Reasoning for keeping bad management: 1. They are buddys with their boss 2. The Boss of that bad boss might be as incompentend and would need to accept his own shittyness if he terminated sucky Bossbaby. 3. They don't care 4. They don't wanna deal with the trouble 5. "What do THEY know?!" attitude. Of course a manager is alway "better" then a worker bee.

I’ve been listening pretty much since he started… It just popped up on my recommendations one day and somehow ended up being what I listen to when I first get up and do my morning routine. Sometimes I go back and re-listen to older videos and it’s cool to see how both his production and narration style have improved over the years. I don’t know we agree with his comments, but he strikes me as a good person.
