First Story: That manager should've not only get fired but blacklisted from ever being a manager. That guy is not only an asshole, he is a liability risk

With such an IDIOTIC policy like unplugging the only things keeping your meat fresh and non-lethal, I'm surprised the supermarket didn't shut down MUCH SOONER.

first story: to save a few bucks the owner choose the most inefficient way to do it, if you unplug a fridge or freezer, they consume more power to return on that exact temperature instead if they were left on.

St1 i am pretty sure you dont save any money unplugging the freezer at night as the freezer has to refreeze everything spending more electricity than keeping it running

Turning off equipment to "save money" sounds like the former owner of the Cincinnati Reds, Marge Schot. She would walk around the office turning off people's computers to save money. People had to put notes "do not shut off" or they would lose their work.

Story 1: R/ said what I was thinking. Like this guy had to have known he wasn’t gonna get away with selling rotten meat for long. And let’s say someone that eaten and ended up in the hospital, pretty sure it would’ve been traced back to him.

Story one: In a brazilian version of Kitchens nightmares, theres a VERY iconic episode of an owner that turns off the fridge at night and the meats were spoiled, eventually the place closed after the show. anyways, while the end of story was going on my head was basically going "desliga of freezer a notche"

The first story: While uncommon, it does happen. I worked in a warehouse where we had a communal fridge. The dirtbag floor manager did exactly this to save money. All of our food was spoiled come Monday because we were closed on weekends. It took them forever to fire that useless POS.

OP from the second Story Here: Klaus had a Chicken gone loose once and didn't care. Many people told us about it. Just as we tried to catch her, a dog bit it. We nursed it Back to health and Klaus wanted to sell his chickens to a meat farmer. He demanded His Chicken Back... The club voted for us to keep her. After he got kicked out, He lived in a Garden shed of one of His Friends lol...
