As an IT guy, never fuck with the IT guy. After they fired me for me reporting my boss to HR for harassment, I reported a company I worked for 15 years ago to Microsoft for reusing Windows OEM licenses. They got fined about 19 million. 😂 Don't. Fuck. With. IT.
Honestly, pretty tame for a nuclear revenge all things considered; especially when other nuclear stories end with the jerk in a prison, in a wheelchair, or in a grave; sometimes all three by the end.
Boss: *tries to sue the IT guy* IT guy: “I see you have chosen death.”
I misread the title as "I shank my toxic boss" which, yeah, that'd be pretty nuclear.
Anytime Dabney covers a revenge/maliciouscomplience story where OP is the IT guy/tech, I wanna pull out some popcorn! 🍿
150$ a day? For tech support? Is this guy stuck in the Seventies, or something? This is a trained expert, not a teenaged babysitter
For a nuclear revenge story, there's a distinct lack of murder or other felonies. Good story though!
Honestly, there is nothing better than some idiot boss shooting himself in the foot.Because he managed to piss off the wrong person , (ie. the one person keeping the business afloat)
I don't think this is nuclear revenge, I'm not even sure if it's revenge of any kind, malicious compliance maybe but all OP did was adhere to a contract they were practically forced to sign. This is basically a victory without doing anything.
So, what was the revenge exactly? All OP really did was quit his job, the boss did the rest to himself
