question? do you like these types of convos? If so please hit the like button on the vid - that’s the best way to let us know ❤ (also, would be doing me a big favour if you could subscribe & join our community 🙏🏾🥲) i appreciate you - SB!
I am a Montessori infant and toddler specialist (I also have certification at the early childhood level 2.5-7 yrs). Every day for 40+ years, I have been frustrated because the topic of caring for children is RARELY (if ever) talked about. We might say that it's "really important" - but the details (nuts and bolts) of what it entails are NOT discussed. I have imagined this is because the topic is still considered "women's work" (whether this is conscious or not). Now we have a guy discussing it ... because he thinks we should program robots to do it??? I swear to God. Adding: I once talked with Michio Kaku (the scientist). He said that in the future the people who take care of children will be our very best and brightest BECAUSE we will someday realize how essential this work is ... and while other jobs can be automated, only someone who is fully human can help a child to become human too.
Two men are laying bricks. One sees it as boring, repetitive work. The other sees himself building a cathedral. Same task, different mindset—one suffers, the other finds meaning.
The best time I had in the past 10 years, even better than sex - was the blizzard in North Texas that lead to wide spread power outages for days in 2021. My mom injured her wrist so she couldn't use her arm. My brother and dad came down with the flu. I kept the living room fire place going all night and cooked food with the gas stove... And it was the best experience in years. My work was more valuable than any line of code I ever wrote.
Steven asks the best questions, hands down. It’s like he reads his audience’s minds
Take me back to the late 80s early 90s when people were happy & fun to be around... I am lucky to have lived & experienced them. 🙌🏽
U guys r nutty. Struggle is a necessary part of life, failure, pain all necessary to become strong.
Steven gets the best out of these interviews by asking the questions on most people’s minds. Love that he asked how we can spend more time with people when we are trying to be successful. The truth is, it’s hard to do both!
You know some people are f***** up because simply mom and dad didn't hold them. I agree bro
(51:44) Bill, If you don't know that there's a difference between a robot and a Human Being holding a baby/child... we're finished. I thought that EVERYONE would understand that there IS a significant difference between Sentient and Robotic. It isn't just Brain and what the Brain knows... we're talking about INSTINCT. ANIMAL INSTINCT.... and Heart. And WISDOM. If the world now thinks that robots are the answer, we are deeply screwed.
