I do intermittent fasting everyday, I do a 40 hr fast once a week. You'll be surprised energy you feel . I'm 82 and have been doing it for 7 yrs.
When I was diagnosed with cancer, I researched the connection between fasting and the effectiveness of chemotherapy on attacking my cancerous cells, while simultaneously minimizing the negative effects of chemotherapy on my "good' healthy cells. I was very surprised that even though I was being treated at a first-rate, premier cancer center in Northern Virginia, there were very few physicians there that had any expertise or even interest in fasting or fasting mimicking diets. This was in 2021! I ended up fasting beginning 3 days before each round of chemotherapy with extremely positive results. My tumor disappeared completely after only 3 rounds of chemo, putting me in the category of "exceptional responders" and I can't help but attribute this to my fasting regime.
When my neurologist told me i had MS, the first thing I asked him was what can I start changing today in my diet and lifestyle and he said, "diet has nothing to do with it, go eat whatever you want". Needless to say, I did my own research and now 12 years later I am living my best life, hiking mountains and IF everyday with longer fasts on the weekends.
So many nights I wake up in a cold sweat and reach for my phone to double check if I’ve subscribed to this channel.
