Students really shouldn't pry into their teachers' private lives, but teacher needs to learn about privacy features
1- WHY WOULD YOU USE THE SAME ACCOUNT FOR BOTH PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL STUFF?!
first story: personally i wouldve just printed out an anonymous note saying something "your reddit account is public, you might want to get a different reddit account to help your students with their problems" and snuck it into a pocket or left it somewhere where he could find it especially if he is a decent person because something like this could ruin his job/life
Arm story: That is f---ing brutal, what kind or parents are you to see your child _in pain for MOST OF THEIR LIFE_ and NOT take the procedure that would've saved them so much hurt? They already boast about being parents to a disabled child but then how would anyone outwardly even know the kid was f---ing disabled IF THEY LOOK PERFECTLY FINE? "Oh yeah our kid can't move their arm at all, it's dead weight!" "Ok but what do you mean? Your kid never acts like their arm doesn't work. If it's so bad, why hasn't it been cut off?" "HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE US OF NOT BEING CARING?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!"
I became disabled 16 years ago. Since then I have not had I moment where I didn't feel severe pain. If I found out someone in my life made a conscious choice this whole time that caused this pain and it could be stopped easily, I'd hate them forever. I can't even imagine how much worse it would be to grow up as a child being forced to have such pain.
Last story: I always watch rSlash while eating lunch or dinner. Right now, I'm sitting at my kitchen table stuffing my face with udon noodles. Never once did I consider watching someone stuff their face with other noodles in the meantime. Now I am wondering what the excitement is about. I'm curious. But I guess this is a dark path I should not follow...
In my personal experience, if someone says they are vanilla and don't have any kinks, 98.999% of the time they DO have a kink, they just didn't know it was considered a kink/they had no idea THAT felt so good. Seriously. I've been the accidental kink sherpa for over a dozen people who previously swore they weren't into any of "that stuff." I'm putting total population kink percentage at over 80% cap'n.
it takes a sick kind of cruelty to intentionally put someone through lifelong pain like the parents of op 3 did
For the third post I can understand if the parents were “waiting for a cure” but like OP said it’s easy to say to wait and hope for improvements in the medical field when you’re not the one suffering. And in the end the family didn’t actually care about OP, they just cared about their image, that they’d rather have their daughter in pain than be seen with a cripple.
