I hate how YouTube now started having drug ads. It’s the same as TV. People came to YouTube because they wanted a TV alternative.
You can’t even fall asleep to YouTube videos anymore without an hour long ad playing every 5 minutes
The ads are so bad too. I don't have AdBlock and I can tell you the ai slop are some of the better ads. Fake podcasts, fake games, it's just awful money and info traps
Perhaps if I didn’t receive an ad EVERY MINUTE on some videos, then I wouldn’t feel the need for an ad block
I am sorry , but when i am playing a video for my students in class , i don't want to get an ad for a drug that i don't use and don't need , the most recent one for me is something related to bowl movements. Also, i don't want an ad for a game with a thirst trap to play in a classroom of teenagers
