Hello wonderful Anton, This is person
I want to live long enough to one day hear Anton saying "Hello wonderful alien"
"it's not aliens" Anton is back lol
I don't think most people realize that our SETI telescopes can't really detect incidental signal leakage at interstellar distances by a civilization using radio communications or sensors like ours. They could only possibly detect a signal if there were some technology deliberately transmitting a focused signal in the direction of our Solar System, or maybe a powerful RADAR pulse that happens to sweep the sky in our direction. So, an added layer of extreme unlikelihood, with a negative result not really ruling much out. If anyone has different information on this point, please let me know.
Well... I never expected simple life to transmit radio, so...
So it's finally aliens! Oh wait...
It's just wild that the visible universe is so large but we have yet to find anything. It's like having more lottery tickets than the winning odds but we still haven't sorted through all the tickets.
What's up science guy I learn so much watching your videos I feel like I'm in a college lecture.
Anton! Whenever I meet anyone who has any interest in Astronomy, all I have to do is to say the word “Anton“ and they will begin gushing about how great you are, how many papers you read, how wonderful your explanations are, how you will admit, if you don’t understand something, how you never indulge in Clickbait, how you always point out where more research is needed and is coming, how you can cover so many different subjects besides astronomy, etc. Keep up the good work! You are a world treasure!
