The more we learn about Mars, the more it sounds like Earth after the warranty expired
We couldn't come up with $11 billion to prove whether we are alone in the universe, but we've spent $33 billion so far on the war in Iran
Until Anton says it’s aliens, it isn’t aliens.
About kaolinite, not necessarily it is formed in extreme humid rain-forest-like environments. For example, it could been produced at volcanoes, related to acid alteration by hidrothermalism (yes, you need water, but maybe underground water). So the interpretation need to be very in context. (I'm a geologist)
All interesting, but I think the "rotation is speeding up" finding surprised me the most!
Many thanks Anton for giving us something positive to think about apart from the troubles here on Earth
Growing up in West Texas, I often observed dust storms that caused railroad signals to turn on for 30 minutes give or take.
Cats on Mars: Day 1: There is no water! 😸 Day 2: There is no water! 😿
Imagine finding a fossil from Mars that resembles something you would find on Earth.
The BEST evidence we have ever found for life outside of Earth and we probably won't be able to prove it by just getting the samples back. Ridiculous
