A lot of us are using salt that doesn't have iodine added to it.
I'm absolutely blasting 100mg of lugol's 2 percent a day (40 drops)

Iodine will make paper go black. Vitamin C in water will make drops of iodine go clear instantly.
Here is the conundrum. Dr Brownstein says we need an iodine proficient practitioner and we need to test our iodine levels first. There are less than 200 iodine proficient practitioners in the USA based on the Hakala Labs and Lynne Farrows websites, while 94% of us are deficient. A urine test does not show the amount of sufficiency. A 24 hour loading test requires a 50mg tablet of Lugols Iodine but can be too high if you have thyroid issues. Based on his rationale we will all be iodine deficient for the foreseeable future. Do your own research.
I am in 100% agreement we all need iodine, I have tried doing it the way he recommends and have increased mine when I got to 25 mg. I had such heart palpitations. I was short of breath. Started decreasing it down and now I only do one drop of 2 1/2% bluegill and zero palpitations. I was having palpitations all the way up to that point. Even two drops I was having palpitations. My thoughts are yes we all need iodine but do we all need such high doses?
Iβd rather get my iodine through foods containing iodine. Eggs, seafood, seaweed, etc.
1-3 drops here 1-3mg lugols iodine
In Costa Rica all salt has to be fluoridated! I still canβt understand how people are functioning over there
In Canada here, I use iodine from a canadian company Natural Factors fresh kelp extract. 2 drops a day.
